Meet the top dog!
Hello there I'm Zac! I am the Canine Fitness Instructor here at Collie Capers of Barkshire Ltd. I report to the pack leader and holder of all the best treats. I've been in post for three years now and enjoyed every minute of my work so far.
At the last Board Meeting I was tasked to write a blog for our website. I've no idea how to do this or any experience but I'm giving it a go. I have called it The Border Collie Diaries; I hope you enjoy it and thanks for reading this far!
At Collie Capers we have great fun everyday, lots of adventures, at least 3 walks a day with a fun group of doggy characters whom I will introduce over the over the coming weeks.
I'm Zac, a black and white border collie in charge of dog conversations and team fitness. I expect all my team to be well mannered dogs whilst out with Collie Capers.
I was trained early in life, know how to behave in all situations and I place high expectations on my companions and friends of all breeds.
Anyone stepping out of line, well I just have a little word in their ear! I'm firm but fair.
I love the fresh air, running around, exploring castles, food and my own bed!
Week One 2024
It started out well with a nice sunny day then a great big storm which caused chaos in Barkshire. Lots and lots of rain and wind creating many cold muddy puddles and the river Thames invading our walking fields. Shocking amount of water - I won't need a bath for months! Today is Tuesday, we are still waiting for the water to subside so we can carry on as normal. Today we had to cancel a few dogs.
In the meantime I'm sat here planning my Border Collie Blog. I will share an insight into my days on a weekly basis, a new diary blog every Friday.

Each week I'll do a small feature of our funniest antics and nominate dog of the week. At the end of the year we can vote on dog of the year.
