My Charity Walk

Hello Everyone,

I do hope you're having a good week. It's very wet again for my walks!

I'm here to tell you about a charity walk I'm doing with the Boss on Saturday 13th April 2024.

The boss loves her rugby, as do I of course! Did you know that she used to play rugby when she was a lot younger?

This year the boss is going to do a Volunteer Coaching Trip to Rwanda in May with a charity called Friends of Rwanda Rugby. She is going joining two of her best friends who always go away on rugby trips together. Last year they went to France for the RWC, though I think this is a bit different!

Friends of Rwandan Rugby is a small, innovative charity that teaches the joys of rugby to boys and girls throughout Rwanda promoting reconciliation, health and well-being through sport, using rugby to help build trust, friendships and foster shared experiences on the rugby field and have fun!

As the boss is giving up some of her holiday to volunteer this year 2024, I decided to help is a small way by undertaking a charity sponsored walk with the Boss of course, as I can't do it on my own.

After a meeting last week we decided that we would undertake the Maidenhead Boundary Walk all 14.5 miles of it. As a challenge we would aim to finish the whole walk in under 3 hours. Starting from Boulters Lock at 10.00AM on Saturday 13 April 2024.

Saturdays are normally my day off!

The route we will follow is here:

We would love to see some of you walking with us, either the full route or just come to cheer us along. If you'd like to join us, please e-mail me for details at zac@colliecapers.co.uk

My main aim is to get some sponsorship for Friends of Rwanda Rugby, details of the charity can be found on their website https://friendsofrwandanrugby.com/

In order to donate to our charity walk please go to the main website and click the donate button. Every small amount helps. Alternatively, click here https://cafdonate.cafonline.org/19247#!/DonationDetails

I will post regular updates during the walk and maybe do some live Instagram when it's safe to do so. Please help me if you can.

Thanks

Zac x
